About SCCCC

In the early 1990's, Bill Sinko, an El Segundo Police Officer, bought a 1965 Chevelle Malibu. He connected with the American Chevelle Enthusiasts Society to see if he can get to know other Chevelle owners. Bill found it was hard to connect through a national network so he ask if ACES could send him their mailing list of members in the Southern California region.

Upon receiving the list, Bill mailed an invite to local members of ACES to join him in the OPGI parking lot to talk about forming a local club. Much to everyone's surprise over 40 people showed up for the meeting and that day the Southern California Chevelle Camino Club (SCCCC) was born.

SCCCC has a membership of over 100 Chevelle and El Camino owners. A bulk of our members live in Orange and Los Angeles County but we have members as far as Germany.

We pride ourselves on being family oriented and easy going. We exist to enjoy each other's company, each other's cars, and to have fun events together. We don't believe in meeting just for the sake of having a meeting. Our meetings usually equal getting together to do something together.

Membership and Renewal

Southern California Chevelle Camino Club is the premier Chevelle and El Camino Club in Southern California that brings owners together to share information and good times. While there is no participation requirement, we encourage members to participate as your time permits. We have great club events including the annual holiday taco gathering, car show events, dyno days, and cruises to unique locations. We hope that you will join us at our future events.

A new membership includes our official SCCCC logo T-shirt, logo window sticker and logo club patch. We will emailed you your club membership card when you sign-up, it will identify you as a member in good standing with the Club, as well as get you discounts from many of our sponsors.

Club notifications are done electronically as it is to time consuming to print, call, or snail mail. All club communication is done via email. We do not send a printed newsletter.
